Car ferries:
Car ferries shuttle back and forth between Uckuyular and Bostanlı, enabling a 25 minute crossing while avoiding city traffic. The first service from Bostanlı, on weekdays and Saturdays, is 7:20 am, and 10:00 am on Sundays, while last ferries sail at 10:40 pm every day. The first service from Uckuyular, on weekdays and Saturdays, is 7:20 am, and 10:00 am on Sundays, while last ferries sail at 11:20 pm every day. Connecting stations at both Uckuyular and Bostanlı enable bus access, in line with the 'harmony in public transport' principle.

Transport between midnight and morning

With the introduction of 24 hour bus lines, the people of Izmir now have an opportunity to use public transportation throughout the day and night.
According to this program the night buses listed below leave from Belediye in Konak in front of the ferry docks:
• 63 Konak - Bornova (Konak, Montro, Alsancak, Zafer Payzan, Manavkuyu)
• 104 Konak - Buca (Varyant, Esrefpasa, Menderes Cad., Heykel, Buca   Uckuyular)
• 152 Konak - Gaziemir (Ucyol, Karabaglar, Sosyal Konutlar )
• 180 Konak - Balcova (Varyant, Inonu Cad., F. Altay)
• 542 Cigli - Konak (Kahveler Duragi, Anadolu Cad., Girne Bulvari,    Karsiyaka, Altinyol, Talatpasa, Konak)
These night-time bus services begin both at Karsiyaka and at Cigli at 0:55 am and continue at hourly intervals until 5:55 am. 
The last ferry boat runs of the day are at 1 am from Konak, 1:15am from Alsancak and 00:30 am from Karsiyaka.
